Experience Paraglding above Zermatt — in front of the highest mountains of the Alps — is one of the most amazing experiences to be had in Zermatt. Unlike mountain climbing, skiing or downhill biking, Paragliding can be experienced by almost anyone who has some basic fitness.
The Classic High is flown in the mornings with the Scenic taking over for the (usually) more chilled afternoon sessions. The ultimate flight is the Elite*, flown from Klein Matterhorn (the Alp's highest lift station).

Flown in the mornings, this is our Big Flight and offers spectacular views and generally the longest flight time. Offered the whole year round.

All prices are flight prices only. Transport up the mountain and the optional Photo/Video Package are not included.

* The Elite flight is highly weather/wind & snow dependent – we ask that you are happy to book the Classic flight with the Elite as an option if conditions allow (the Classic is still one of Europe's highest flights!). The Elite requires perfect wind, weather and snow conditions, as well as a high level of passenger fitness.

What to know before you book your flight

Weather

It goes (almost) without saying that Paragliding is absolutely, incredibly weather dependant!
Even when it's a beautiful sunny, blue sky day, the wind can be blowing a storm on the Mountain (wind is our Kyrptonite). We do our very best to get you flying on your limited holiday schedule — but the Weather Gods are in charge.
If we are not able to fly due to the weather, you will not be charged for the Paragliding.

Age

If you are between the ages of 5 to 69 and you meet our fitness criteria below, we'll be happy to take you for an amazing paragliding flight here in front of the Matterhorn.

We can make the occasional exception if you are super fit & sporty beyond your years, but we reserve the final judgement. (if this is the case, please contact us and let us know).

Fitness

You need to be good on your feet and able to run 10-20 steps with confidence on the start! It's particularly important that you follow the pilot's instructions at the take off (it's easy, but your pilot can't run for you).

If you are older, heavier and/or have physical issues that affect being able to run, then please let us know – we will do our best, but as always, safety first!

Meeting Point

Winter Flights

For Winter Flights, we meet at the bottom of the Sunnegga/Rothorn lift, along the river in Zermatt. Winter Flights are from Dec 1st unitl the Ski Lifts close for the winter (usually around April 20th).

Summer Flights

For Summer Flights, the meeting point is in front of the Gornergrat Railway station in Zermatt (directly across from Zermatt's Main Train Station). Summer Flights are from the closing of the Winter ski lifts (end of April), until the end of November.

Transport

Our prices reflect the price of the Paragliding Flight only. If you do not have a valid Ski Pass and/or Peak Pass, you will need to purchase a lift ticket to reach the take off area. You will receive an email when you make your Booking with details.

Photos & Videos

Your pilot will use a specially designed (for amazing shots & safety) GoPro to capture unforgetable photos & videos of your flight. (+40.- CHF option)
Phones and Selfie Sticks are not allowed - nothing is allowed to fall down during your flight...

Safety

Going for a tandem paragliding flight in Switzerland is generally a safe activity. The Swiss Tandem Paragliding license is very highly rated and issued by the Swiss Aviation Authority. That said, we are going flying in the highest mountains in the Swiss Alps and even with our utmost focus on safety, there is always a small amount of risk (we're there with you and are also very interested in a fun, safe flight).

Cancelation

Flights can be cancelled with no charge, up to 12:00 noon on the day before the flight is scheduled. After this you will be charged the full amount. Please be on time for your meeting at the agreed upon Meeting Point. As with a normal airline ticket, if you're too late, the plane willl have left the Gate and you'll be charged.
